Exchange Semester, UCA Epsom, London 2024
During the exchange semester in London, I used the opportunity to capture the city from multiple perspectives using both analogue and digital photography. Based on this material, I developed an animated film inspired by George the Poet's poetry slam, My City Has a Lot of Faces. The poem served as a homage to London, a city renowned for its cultural diversity and complexity. In his text, George the Poet described the many faces of the city: its people, stories, and perspectives. He addressed both the beauty and the challenges of urban life, including social tension, inequality, and questions of identity, portraying London as a place shaped by contrasts, opportunities, and human connections.
