Langnau Jazz Nights, 2022
As part of the Open Space module at ZHdK, developed in collaboration with the Langnau Jazz Nights, we designed a poster concept for the festival’s annually changing visual identity. Working with full creative freedom, the project explores improvisation as a core principle of jazz.
Typography is transformed into musical instruments and shaped by expressive hands,
arranged in flowing movements that reference rhythm and musical phrasing. Intertwined, organic forms and a vivid, high-contrast colour palette reflect the dynamic, collaborative energy of a jazz ensemble.
